Time flies. Here it is April and we are four months into 2010. Arizona MSA has been extremely busy and productive during the first quarter of 2010. With the economic concerns facing several of our members, the Arizona Board members have been working hard to preserve a financially sound organization by being creative with the resources we have available.
We have reduced the cost of participation to some of our annual events and partnered with each other to promote the heath and well being of each member and organization.
We have offered 10 of scholarships over the past four months in an effort to promote our desire to prepare as many Public Works employees for supervisory positions. Education and experience are key components of a safe and efficient team.
Our members and vendors have an abundance of experience, intelligence and resources. Each of us contributes in our own way to the continued growth and success of this organization, without this we would not be the organization we are today.
As we navigate these uncertain economic times, we will continue to focus on ways we can utilize the talent we have in our membership to come up with cost saving measures and untapped resources for future activities. You can keep up to date with AZ MSA news by going to our newly launched website: WWW.AZMSA.US; We are working to make it useful to our members so please provide feed back to Lory Warren or myself.
